Homeschool Co-ops tend to find 2 very different kind of families with High School Students. Families either take the 'every-minute-counts' approach or just seeking 'fun-and-friends' perspective. Homeschool Kingdom understands this dichotomy and attempts to please both camps by offering both options. In both cases, Friday co-op classes can add variety to your high school transcripts!
High School Science made easy at HSK! One of the biggest stresses for parents is teaching high school science at home. HSK can take the burden off the parents with our Biology, Chemistry, General Science, and AP Psychology classes. The instructor assigns homework, helps with questions, explains concepts, and completes the lab work during class. Apologia Science curriculum is utilized to explore all science perspectives through a Christian worldview. The instructor may add supplemental materials to allow students the option to take the CLEP (College Level Examination Program) which may also give the student college credit. Parents supervise the tests, grade the tests, issue the grades, and add on the transcript.
Fulfill your student's language requirement at HSK! Our Spanish instructors assign homework, encourage conversations, have fun activities and games to ensure understanding, and will guide your student from basics to mastery. La pratica hace la perfeccion. This Spanish class may be counted towards high school accreditation.
Acting is more than the limelight! Students practice memorizing lines, body movement, voice emphasis & projection, reacting, and performing. This comprehensive class ends in Spring with a Play. It may be counted towards high school accreditation.
Gym, Karate, and Dance are some of our popular classes. Active group games and sports keep are fun while students get fit. They may be counted towards high school accreditation.
Homeschoolers can now be on the Yearbook and Newspaper team! They can be part of the fun by taking pictures, capturing memories, interviewing students, editing, allowing their creativity flow into their computers. The best part is that their creations will be appreciated by our members for years to come!
Art & Sewing classes are favorites! Dive into your creative side while enjoying your friends! Learn how to skillfully use your sewing machine to create projects! Art classes may be counted towards high school accreditation.
To further enhance your student's skills, HSK offers private lessons for Piano, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele, and group lessons for Engineering/Programming, Cooking & Nutrition.
